I agree, people need to just start being honest and admitting the truth's to themselves. I think people deny things because they don't want to look at reality
^Yeah. I'm gonna, hopefully, be stable myself. But in my family the women are the breadwinners and make more than their husbands or significant others and it's broken some of them down. And I believe in old-school values, the man should take care of his family.

Truth is truth. many sell themselves out. Just don't want to be truthful and admit. Just look at the world. You can have a pocket full of bling and look like donkey kong and pull most.
I am not materialistic at all it's just as a self sulficient women I want a man that is compatible with me. I do not need to have a guy weighing on me hand and foot because I can take care of myself. I just want somebody that would be able to take care of themselves and not need someone to take care of them. As long as the guy that I am with is ambitious and striving to excel at what ever they do I will support them. Who ever I am going to be with if I could not make ends meet I would want them to be able to help pick up the slack.
I had to read everyones responses before I posted. I for one am not materialistic. What a man has is of no consequence to me because I work and pay my own bills, drive my own car and such. I feel that if my mate and I have an understanding then we are okay. A relationship is give and take. You have to be with someone that understands that completely. As far as looks. I would like to be with someone I'm attracted to. I don't care if every other female doesn't want him.
