I think there may be some hints of racism within the techno genre. There seems to be an attempt to make it seem as if white people in Europe were the creators of this music when it was really some brothas from Detroit. Now, the Detroit breed of techno is considered this renegade form and most people will call it rap or ghetto tech when it's just an evolved form.
