yea the summer of '03 was live, I remember when I first joined the site that april, I used to be in class on this website, I used to be addicted no lie. But I still like to come here every once in a while to learn something new.

...i can remember rushing to the computer after school to see what was the latest drama...now i could care less....
the fall of 2003 was decent too...i was a "lurker" during the summer, but i was here...saw the drama too...
Lol who u telling... HBCU made the summer job extra interesting... i joined in like july with another SN and switched to this one in Aug (didn't know u could change it lol). Lol@ whoever brought up the Soewhat photoshop jobs, remember that red, yellow and green jump off that looked crazy. Good times. 8)
Yes Fall 2003 was the Sh*t and it has gotten boring since all the beefs have been quashed and Sh*t. Thas why I dont post as often... no topics tha really catch my interest, but I be here lurkin around.
So, lemme get this straight... The reason most cats come to the message boards is to see and start drama?
I don't really keep up with the thousands of posts, but the whole intent is to keep it positive...

i say people will never be happy/satisfied....'cause when all of the drama was goin' down, there were people who were saying the same thing....that they used to come up here when the site was more "positive," & now people r just cruel and unnecessary, so they're gonna be taking a break from the site 4 a while....

PERSONALLY...i don't think the forum lost its appeal when the bulk of the "drama" ceased....i think it did a lil' when those 92,748,723,489,734 sub-forums were created....
it used 2 be cool when u could post about music, tv, issues females had with guys, issues guys had with the ladies, etc. etc. etc....
and now....be4 i post a new thread, i'm like " hold up....now could this possibly go in the 'Sports' sub-forum...or maybe 'HBCU Questions & Concerns'?!?!??!"
between having to choose carefully which one u post in AND the locking & moving frenzy some moderators tend 2 go on from day 2 day....u're like damn...this is feeling more & more like "1984"...
i mean i understand organization...but sometimes TOO MUCH organization can be just plain boring....and i think that's what happened with this site....altho it's still aiight 2 me....still can be a lil' addictive & time consuming, lol (which is y i don't come on as much as i used 2)....but still - it was hot when there was a GREATER VARIETY of topics in The Yard....instead of just...a bunch of random, off the wall threads that don't fit anywhere else in The Cafe :?

yeah i agree....i miss when you could come to the LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS forum and post whateva...and then how about they locked and deleted some of the classic threads??? did yalll know that rods "WHO WOULD YOU GET WITH FROM HBCU? from fall 2003 is no longer existant???? that was aurguably the best thread ever... see, that's why i was blowed when chris becamse a mod man...i knew sh!t was gonna get crazy...

Also, just to set the record straight, I will never come on here to start 'something' with anybody, or to try to show out... I'm just trying to find out what people are thinking ... As for all the negative threads and foul fotos, well... People can talk about whatever they like, but posting foul pics on a public forum is not cool and could mess things up for everyone (like making us turn off linked in pictures and avatars)...
So if you see some foul crap on the boards, please get at me so we can clean it up... This ain't that kind of site.
I appreciate cats wanting to come to the forums and keep stuff hyped, that's all good... Just want to keep it relatively positive/clean or if not positive, at least clean...
