NBA's best player Posted on 04-09-2004
Ms. Sunshine

Since there is a thread for NBA playoff predictions, I decided to have a thread on this..... Who do you think is the MVP of the season? I'll start. I think the MVP for this season is Peja Stoyokovic. He has put the Kings on his shoulders and brought them to the top seed of the West, and having the best record in the NBA. His on-point 3 pointer, his aggressiveness, and his good passing has helped the Kings get a good look at the NBA title. Things may be getting a bit shaky with Webber's return (I think things were a bit better when he wasn't there...sorry to say), but I think that as long as he is on point, they can give a good fight for the NBA title.

NO HE DID NOT SAY THAT ABOUT MY BOY T-MAC! Rod, I love you and all, but you cannot be dissin' the leading scorer in the NBA. He is one of the best in the NBA. Sometimes, one person can bring up a team and help them get into the playoffs, but they need more than 1 person that is good. All he has is Lue. Gooding is coming up but not for a few season (he's a sophomore). Howard is getting old, and they don't really have any inside presence. Also, the guy with the great 3 pointer (his name is hard to grasp at the moment) is a monster, but he has been hurt. T-Mac needs to go to another team and try working his Magic there. As long as he is with a suck-a$$ team that has no good supporting cast, don't expect him to do something great. He can score 50+ points and they still lose (has happened plenty times this season).

talkin bout Giricek, i believe... but yeah... all Orlando needs is the #1 pick, and they can grab Emeka... but if the first three teams pass him up, he can damn sure come to Charlotte as the #4 pick... if they don't get Emeka, get Jameer...

HE'S IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE!!!!!! gotta be able to make the playoffs over there...look at the sixers, they're in contention and have less than the magic

Come on now I dont care what you say.... The only won 20 games all fukkin season.... HOW THE HELL WOULD HE EVEN BE LOOKED AT FOR MVP. Obviously he aint a leader if he can score 50 and they still lose. Its called being a ball hog. In order to win you gotta get your whole team into it. I mean damn Utah has Kirilenko and nobody else and they won 42 games. Damn shame.....

Come on now boo. He is not a ball hog. If your team relies on you to help them win, what do you think you're going to do? They keep passing him the ball. I've watched plenty of games when they pass T-Mac the ball and then just stand there and wait to see what he's going to do. The team is some shyt. He's on a team with a bunch of rookies, an old man, and an injured player who keeps trying to make a come back, but can't. The team is sorry. 1 man cannot bring a team up all by himself. Yes, there are players who carried a team, but all the load was not completely on them. If it was like that, they would eventually crumble. Example, last year KG was a monster, but his team was some ****. They did make it to the playoffs, but could go but so far. You cannot sit and rely on one person and think that everything is going to be already. Didn't work for the Sixers, T-Wolves, Knicks...no one. And I never said that he should be considered for MVP. I just stated that he should get some respect with him being the leading scorer two years in a row, and being one of the most versitile players in the game today.
