hmmmm...shadey jade...I just started (2 1/2 weeks ago) this full-time job. 6.50 an hour in dietary at a nursing home. I usually have to sweep, mop, wash dishes, and scrap plates and stuff. I think it's decent but working at a BESTBUY or some type of electronic-or clothing store would be a lot more appealing to me. Would I be wasting my time if I filled out other applications? Do you think it would be better just to sit cool at the job I'm at right now because I doubt I could get anywhere payin more than 6.50?

No you would not be waisting time filling out other apps. continue to work where you are but fill out other apps to see if someone will call u back (with more pay) but DO NOT quit your job before someone calls u back TRUST ME I had to learn the hard way.
