Has anyone else noticed that the standards for our music is getting lower and lower. We now hail lackluster entertainers more for their persona then for their talent, and that ****. Rappers ( 50cent/ G-Unit, Li'l Flip, Chingy) and singers ( Ashanti, Mary J. Blige) have less than impressive talent. What other people do ya'll think are over or underratted in the music industry?
Good point on Lil John, he's definitley overrated, I didnt think of that. And whats with everyone going around yellin' "YEEEAH!"...or "YOOO-KK!!!".....or even more annoyingly "WWWWHAT?!". But no one mentioned 50 cent. I'm from Queens, and ill tell you he's not all that he's hyped up to be. I hear no rhyme skills deserving of this much praise.

50 ain't overrated, he just gone commercial since he signed w/ Shady/Aftermath... all the underground joints were hot...
like it or not... Eminem, D12, 50 Cent, and G-Unit are all in the hottest rap label/camp right now... Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit... and they added Busta too... can't stop that...

Yikes! Are you serious bro? It is violently obvious how overrated 50 is, and about him and Feminem being the best rappers out? UGH! On which planet? Mars? No, they have taste. Believe it or not, Lauryn Hill is a better rapper than 50 or fem, and im not being sarcastic.

Lil Jon is a producer and his songs are serving their purpose..not overrated in my book..
