For me it's my attitude. They say us Detroit people have a certain swagger about our self and we think we know it all. They say it shows in the way we talk, walk and dress.
But my style this year will addidas im gonna lay off the air force 1's for a while try 2 step my game up in a different way. so what will u be doing diff
I think the things that sets me apart from the rest is my Confidence and Assertive Attitude. I think these qualities will take you far in life.
As far as my personal style goes. I like to be DIFFERENT!! I can't stand doing what everyone else is doing. I'm not afraid to step outside of the box. I love clothes and I think your sense of style displays your personality and how unique you are. :-D
My i am mostly like black conscience, i know who i am and i am ambitous i have drive. People say i am intimating and i look stuck up, but it actually the opposite, its just a family trait to look stuck up, everyone on my moms side looks stuck up. My dad's family is just stuck up. I am not very assertive but you wouldn't know that if you talked to me about something i am passionate about
i dress in what i like usually like preppy clothes, polo's, skirts, converses, jeans stuff like that, but if you see me on a good day, i'll rock an angela davis tee, bob marly tee, che gureva tee bpp tea, Mother Africa tee, i have like thousands of them.. literaly so i wear those and jeans or a skirt and some converses.. i am a converse person.. clean cut.

I guess an ex put it best...I'm shy with the right amount of stamina/confidence. I have a soft confidence, it's not an in-your-face kind of confidence. I don't brag, I simply let my actions speak for themselves. I'm smart mouthed once ppl get to know me but only slightly.
My style, as in clothes and what I wear? I'm a jeans and cute shirt kind of girl. I don't feel tha need to show EVERYTHING my mama gave me lol...I'm classy, even when I'm dressing down. And when I dress up (which I'm starting to do more often)...I'm CLEAN! I'm classy, I don't buy what's in style...because it's a waste of money. So I'm different...but not in a obvious kind of way.
I just like to get to troll and get on all of your nerves. I used to try to incite some intelligent debates, but seeing as how most of the intelligence either a) doesn't post very much, or b) doesn't post at all...I just troll.
Well, my personal style is quite...unique (sort of). I like to wear my hair natural, casual shirts, blue jeans (different shades), and sneakers. I rarely wear makeup unless I'm attending a formal event. I like to be comfortable, which is why I rarely wear heels on the yard (or off-campus) unless I have something important to go to such as a job interview, church, formal event, etc. But don't get it twisted, I am FAAARRR from being a lesbian (no offense to anyone who is, it's just that some people are quite judgemental/stupid who'll assume that).
Also, I tend to stay to myself. But, if I know you, I'll become a goofball in a minute. I stay away from drama and crazy people (esp. ones that attend VSU.) I'm a very good person who is nice and fun-loving. A lot of people don't understand me because I have my own style and demeanor. Finally, I can sometimes come off as an "airhead"...by mistake, lol. Trust me, I'm quite intelligent. I just don't feel the need to display it 24/7, and sometimes I don't think before I speak.
I'm not gonna try to step my game up for real this year I'm gonna wear all my stuff from the previous years, and save up my money to get me a decent car..... I mean I've been buying my own stuff since I was 14 so I'm just gonna have to sacrifice other things for a good car. I'm used to it... besides I'm good at just throwing stuff together...... let's see if I take this shirt with these jeans and cut this up her and sew this there..... BOW..... I gotta brand-new-up-tp-date-outfit-right!!!!

im REAL laidback..sometimes people mistake it for arrogance although im confident but im jus someone who likes to sit and observe unless you come up and talk to me or i wanna talk to you...basically if youre jus talkin jibber jabber, im not really gonna be listening...if youre talkin about something that actually matters or you need help with somethin im all ears...
i carry myself like ive got some sense and ive been raised right..im not out there bein loud all the time...
