For those who do not know, the donor scholarship(s) application is available online. Go to howard.edu, click on financial aid, click on downloadable forms and click on donor based scholarship application for 2005-2006! There are about 78 donor scholarships and to view those and the requirement(s) which isn't much at all, click on scholarships and donor scholarships on the financial aid page. The application is only one page long of basic information [name, id#, ss#,address, number, etc.], no essay or anything like that! Basically that one page will qualify you or grant you whatever scholarship(s) you have the requirements for! The only thing is, it is first come first serve and the application has been online since yesterday so be on your grind, fill it out and send it in ASAP. I know I NEED scholarship money badly and I know it's a lot of people that need and deserve scholarships also so I just wanted to help out and spread the word. Since it is first come first serve I would suggest yall to fax it in ( 2 0 2 ) 8 0 6 - 2 8 1 8 and it will take a few minutes because the fax line is very busy, if you're close to the campus turn it in or have a friend that is close to the campus do your application and turn it in for you or send it express. I believe the deadline is September 2 so good luck yall! Also if you use AOL you might not be able to view the link to the application so try to view it in Explorer if you don't see the link on AOL!

well the one i had last year I received $3,000 each semester. It depends on the amount of funds they have and how many people they give it to. Each scholarship has a different reward amount. I mean the application is only 1 page and ask basic questions. There is nothing to lose.

They gave it to me at the most random times. I got them like in the middle of the semester. I just happened to check my financial aid online and saw some extra money in there. Then you have to fill out some form, write a thank you letter, send your resume and a head shot to the donor just so they know who you are.
