I know this may sound a little redundant but, I was having a conversation with a male friend of mine and I wanted to know from a man's perspective "why do men cheat." Whoa, did he give me an earful ladies..lol. Anyway read the conversation below and feel free to share your feelings, opinions, etc. on this subject.

I need some real talk right now. I'm so tired of men (black especially) saying how they want a good woman who's smart, funny, attractive, self driven,
have a career, freaky, and the whole nine and then when they get them you all don't know how to handle them. Some even become intimidated. What is really up with all that. Why do men cheat? why would a man have sugar at home but, go out in the streets and start messing with ish? Explain this for me please.

The only simple way I can put it is that it is nature. A man will be a man first, my example I always use is even the Fine Halle Berry, couldnt keep here men from going astray, and she is mostly every mans dream......And for most men it is all about the hunt, and after the actual ****, it is boring, and they are out to hunt once more. It is not rocket science, just know that it is nothing that the women does, it is just what we do, no matter how great the woman is, there is always another woman on the radar.
I'm definitly an upgrade for him also because his last girlfriend is ****, and she wears weave (probably because her hair ran away from her face).I didn't mean to put the other guy down like that. I didn't even realize I did. Actually, we're still cool ..I think he's talking to somebody now anyway. Yes, he could be very successful. And I realize that he hasn't developed into himself.
It's great that you have so much going on and most likely you will be successful, but don't down play anybody else. It's not cool to call people **** just because you THINK you're cuter than her. You don't know what she's got going on.
Some men don't look at all that. They just want someone to love them. Who cares if you're on varsity or scored high on your ACT, it's all good but so what. What can you bring to the table other than high scores. Seem to me, you would be too busy for him to enjoy anyway.
Keep it up and he just may cheat on you with a successful **** girl. That he can enjoy.

Funny! Yeah, that happens a lot. When men do cheat they tend to cheat on their partner with some chick that is **** or never on the same level of looks.
Actually, the reason he broke up with her in the first place is because she has nothing going on. Her grades suck, she's not involved, she doesn't keep herself up, and nobody likes her. He likes girls who are smart, busy, athletic, involved, pretty, classy, outgoing, ambitious, independent, etc. Like me. He said himself he doesn't like "lazy, do-nothing, average" girls.

Why? Are you a deer hunter? I know I don't hunt deer unless I'mma eat the ****. Why would you waste time trying to get a woman's number if you aren't going to use it? Not only that, but if your woman finds that number, what woman in her right mind is going to believe that story?! I know you know how suspect that sounds... especially if you've already done some other f**ked up s**t.

Yes, that's what he told me ...and everyone else. It's no secret. Everybody knows her. He wasn't even with her that long (like a month). Until he caught on to her (realized she can't dress, found out her hair isn't real, saw how bad her grades are, didn't see any motivation, etc.). And she ISN'T pretty, believe me. I don't judge girls like that, but I know **** when I see it.
And no, he is not "gameing" me. He's one of the nicest, most honest people I've ever met, really. How could you draw yourself to a conclusion like that, when you don't even know him?

It's amazing how your perception changes as you get older, I guess that is what people do when they are in Jr. High or High School. Yeah, I remember those days when we used to talk about a chick who couldn't dress. LOL Those were the days! I'm just curious to what he's going to say about you after he breaks up with you. That will be interesting.
Would it be considered cheating, if an involved man got a lady number? His intent is not to use it, but to see if he can still get a number.
I didn't think guys actually did that anymore. I knew young guys or high school guys did that, but I didn't think that a grown man would do that. Who has time to play games like that? If you aren't interested don't waste your time or hers trying to get the number. That is stupid. (not referring to you but the act is.)
