I'm so happy cuz im finally sendin my admission fee and all that! i got accepted in december and i got a capstone scholarship so now all im waitin for is august! i dunno what to expect so can some people tell me what to expect when i get there and stuff and like how howard is??? please nothin bad cuz im too excited and negative stuff will bring me down lol. o yea and im gonna major in psychology and i havent heard much about their program so if anybody had some info thatd be nice
Yea, i cant really provide any depth to the conversation about leave in conditioners and going all-natural, but uh i jus got my acceptance letter from Howard and i was wondering, whats tha social life like up thea (parties, greek, night scene, ect.). If you all dont mind my inferior hare care knowledge in the buildin... lol.

Hampton is very tame compared to the social life in DC/Howard....
It's a major busy city so there are always things to do...

Well....It will be my first time visiting in March...
so I don't know from personal experiences...but be sure to look at the Facebook group... because it has a lot of information on the night life, shopping, and parties and ish...but I'll go look later and see if I can post some of the things..
and I'm sure Truth can help you out on that too.

Social Life is great and I'll give you a break down:
Parties- There are parties all year round. Most state clubs (Georgia Club, Cali Club, LATEX, Florida Club, etc.) have at least one party a year. Most students who live off campus throw their own house parties also. There should be a party during freshmen orientation week as well.
Greek Life- We currently have all 9 Black Greek letter organizations active on campus. They all do community service but are fundamentally different in their own right. For more info on Fraternities, click below:

Kappa Alpha Psi, Xi ChapterNight Scene- The night scene is what I like most. There are shopping malls, plazas, movie theatres, restaurants and bars all within 20-30 minutes of the campus. DC pretty much is a party city and most things stay open until about 2 or 3 in the morning.

and yea ill b visitin in march too. does anybody know when howards spring break is??? cuz i wanna go march 3rd or else durin my spring break but i cant go if they're on spring break too.
