The online Howard Math Placement Test must have some serious errors, I've taken Pre-Calcus in High School and consider myself to be a pretty bright person.......but I'm recommended Algebra 1 !!!!!!!  *****-off expression graces the ever so confused face of homiegrl** *dies*

I advise you to go with what ever the placement test says...because College math...let me rephrase that...HOWARD math isnt like high school math.
LOL!!! the date on homiegrl's post HAS to be in like July 04.....and ur responding..... I was told that the test was only a suggestion of what you should take... dont know if that is true or not but hey.... Im givin away free info  I think that Howard Math depends on your professor.... I had Moore... Maddd easy teacher who looks out for his students IF he knows your face... got a B in Algebra 1 .... shoooot... I am NOT good at math so I was happy. The tests came straight from the review section, homework was not due until the end of the semester, if your final quiz average was higher than your test average he would swap the scores because tests were weighed greater.... he was TRYING to make everyone pass..... only problem is... he ONLY teaches Algebra 1... and his class fills up QUICK because err1 knows how he is...

Umm well they recommended that I take applied calculus or fundamental concepts of mathematics when I start in the fall. Is that a good placement? has anybody taken that or know anybody who has taken that because I am ok at math. ONLY ok, I'm not a math genius but i'm not dense either so i dont wanna be in a class that's too hard or easy for me ya know...
