Now there are a lot of HBCU's in different states. But what state has the best HBCU's overall.
North Carolina has my vote:
St. Aug
North Carolina Central
Winston Salem
Fayettville
Livingstone
Elizabeth City
A & T
Bennett
Shaw
Johnson C Smith
im sorry but there is NO WAY IN HELL you can justify any of those NC schools even all together, being better than MOREHOUSE AND SPELMAN , they are the cream of the crop, the black HBCU elite, no ifs ands or buts, none of those NC schools can compare even to ONLY those 2 schools not even mentioning the others...the best school up there is NCAT  , so my vote still goes with GA

So two schools, in one city hold down an entire state? Read the question folks. Well with the exception of Elizabeth City State, there is an HBCU every 70 miles in NC. . . that's amazing.

I agree they both are excellent and reputable schools, but how are those 2 schools alone "better" than all 11 NC schools? Just askin...
and I know people on this site don't even get into the black HBCU elite is better thing. Many make it out to be almost a bad thing or either non-existent.

Thanks, cuz believe me those students at Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Emory, and UGA, all think our schools are inferior. . .

What " they " think of our schools has nothing to do with anything. We are talking about what WE think of our schools right now. :?

Half of those student in the schools you listed went to school in the AUC. And just to remind the NC Kats there are ten HBCU's in GA not including Carver College which makes eleven since we countin n all

ITC is considered to be an HBCU? Is it 4 years? And what is Shorter and Carver College, I've never heard of either of these schools? Are you sure these are HBCUs? If they are, are they 4 year schools? And since medical schools are professional schools, does that really count as an HBCU too?
NC has 11 4-year HBCUs, plain and simple.
