Jay-Z aint overrated....but 75% of the other rappers from "up north" are. If I'm listening to music, 70% of me is vibing to the beat....30% actually cares about whats being said, unless its one of those songs with a message. Jay-Z's stuff had good music AND good wordplay. I can't say that about some of them other NY mu'fukkaz.
