i just took some cornrows out of my hair like 2 days ago...i think i'mma get some micros before i go to school cuz they seem they will be easier to deal with opposed to my usual wrap. i want to try some **** twist but i'm not sure how they will look on me so i guess i'll stick with the cornrows and micros until i get some balls to experiment...

I love my braids. i just took out like 300 single box braids... had them in for a few months... but the same day i took those out i went and got my cornrows. but when i go to school im gonna get my kinkys. The thing i like most about havin my braids while in school is that my hair wont break off.. Cause i dont know about yalls water at school, but ours is extra hard so it causes everything from ya skin to ya hair to dry out.
My sister and I do braids, I do cornrows, but mainly i do micros, and my sister just does cornrows. Everyone down here knows to call my sister Daniele, and she'll send them to me. We do each other's cuz nobody else can braid like us where I live.
I hate to see an ****-*ss head of braids, for example, when you see a girl with big braids with weave in their head, and when you come down to the ends they are really small and thin, that is the worst.
My sister's family ( the half on her father side) braid hair, this school year i had micro's and cornrows, trying to regrow my hair after i got it evened out, but when school start i'm gonna have in **** twist, my other sister just got her's done by her cousin. I would tell yall to holla at them but we in OH, unless yall want to travel the distance :???: they charge only 50 for micor, 60 for twist, 20 for cornows. i don't now how much it cost to get yall braids where yall at, but here twist start at like 160, and micro start at 100. I think that is crazy, for some damn braids its not like they gonna supply the extra hair for us, so whats with the price????? :x

prices usually are high like that because of the labor...Like I think its reasonable that i pay 110, 120 for some micros...if they are a fast braider it should take them about 7 hrs...but thats a long time to be doin someone's hair and ur fingers achin and whatnot...but may prices are more based on the labor and how long it will take them to do verses to the actual style...

I charge 80 for micros and I do them in 5 hrs, and 25 for cornrows and do them in a hr, my sister charges 35 and takes 2 hrs. I do them faster but more people know my sister she sends them to me when she can't do their hair and then they start comming to me.

lol I feel all spoiled...i get my braids for free. (one of the many benefits of being an African) But i never really saw braids as being "out". I'm getting those invisible micros b4 i go back to school, ive have my hair out all summer, i need to give it a rest. I usually swap back and forth btwn micros and cornrows though. Ive never got **** twists, i dont think they would look right on me

I'll have had braids only 2 times, and both times they were cornrolls. So I really don't know much about braids.
