I'm still trying to get more money but this guy at my school applied to over 20 something schools and raked in over a million dollars in scholarships

Heck yeah but I heard from someone that if you get scholarships from other schools and you don't go there, the money doesn't go back in the pot until next yr. If that's true, he's taking money from people who really needs it and that's very selfish.

Is that money from his financial aid packages or just from outside scholarships or a combination of both?
