NOW HOWARD WHICH I AM A LITTLE DISSAPOINTED ABOUT DOESNT REALLY HAVE AN OFFICIAL PROCESS FOR FRESHMAN LIKE SAYYYY BETHUNE COOKMAN WHOS FRESHMAN HAVE A SUN VISOR AND CAN NOT GO WITHOUT WEARING IT UNTIL HOMECOMING......BUT YOU ARE STILL A FRESHMAN AND FRESHMAN SHOULD STAY IN THEIR PLACE

yep. I still got my lil back pack. Kinda heated i didn't get a blue one tho, those are hot. But yeah, i didn't like to wear mine alot cuz it's pretty much freshman tag...well, i take that back cuz transfer students get em too. I used my own bags tho. Kinda like to keep the folks guessin, ya feel me?? :wink:
Oh yeah and never said dudes at Howard are hard but you best to believe that just because you may be from the suburbs dont mean everyone else is. I agree you got a lot of fonies and I dont claim to be hard just take care of myself. But i do know some killers that are in college. I know dudes that got guns,sell ****, and woul out and stay in the dorms. I think its stupid you cant shead the mentality but if thats all you know then thats all you know. You dont have to be rich and soft to get into Howard. All you need is a 2.75,1000 on SAT, and thats it. I know dudes in jail who got that. Speaking from a dudes prospective and not for everyone but myself in general. DC is not soft and is a rough place sister if you didnt know. I have been at Howard for the past 2 years and I have gotten robbed at gunpoint 4 times. I have gotten my car stolen, and jumped because of what I had on. Maybe its easy for females but DC aint a punk so you sometimes need heat to make it. I live off campus by the way....

It really isn't that BAD.... DC is a nice place.. be thankful you don't live in South East DC.. The people who are attacked usually are by themselves late at night (a BIG no-no) and are occupied(hoodie on, listening to music, talking on the phone)..
I don't care how "**** life" you might be, DC can get mad grimey, but it isn't like every other city is angelic.. you just have to get used to it..

I've lived in the DC area since I was 10 and it is not that bad. Its just like any other major city. Don't let it get to you. Just be smart about things and have common sense (which i'm sure you have).
yeah i gotta agree, usually stuff happens if ya aint using common sense about things...just like any big city there are dangers whether YOU GO to a white school or not....take georgetown for instance those white kids be wiling lol...heck even at hampton "home by the sea" a student was found shot in the head :?
