WHO IS YOUR FAVORTIE RAP ARTIST? Posted on 11-24-2003

P Harrell
Columbus, OH
They are all tight in their own way to me. But I haven't listened to much Jadakiss so i can't really comment on him. I have a soft spot for Nas though so I'll have to go with him as my favorite. Just because I feel like I have a deep relationship with his music, and he's the only oneon the list that I listened to when he was underground. So I feel like I've watched his music grow.

ya'll know what's funny..... somethin' my mom brought to my attention, and it's so true.... whenever you hear people mention Pac & Biggie, that's almost always how they say it......Pac...then Biggie.... even on the replies to this topic - the people who say they can't choose between the two and put both for #1, they always put Pac 1st.... she also thought it was interesting (as do I) that whenever music artists mention one (Tupac or Biggie), it's like they feel obligated to mention the other.....the two artists will forever coincide, as far as when their names are individually brought up....even if you love one of 'em, and aren't necessarily feelin' the other, you just can't help but bring up the other nevertheless.....their names will forever go hand&hand.....

I definately will have 2 disagree, I like Kanye, as a producer 1st, then as a lyricist.

Okay I can respect most list on here but to put Bone Thugs and Harmony on any one list is crazy...just my opinion
Wow, I think u was lookin for an argument with this statement. How can u diss anyone's opinion on who they like. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is my favorite group, and I find more out of their music than anyone else. I may not necessarily like your favorite artist, but how can I knock u for liking their music? Makes no sense to me, but we will carry on. So for my list, I am jus naming my favorite: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

Lol...I go to school with you so we can take care of it there but nah let's do it here..... In my opinion, Bone, Thugs, and Harmony is a weak group. The ONLY song I liked of theirs was Crossroads and that's because it had a unique video. It's obvious that they are not very good because where are they now? Everyone on my list has credibility, from at least being gold certified to street cred. I'm not knocking you for liking them, more so just knocking the group. If BTH is appealing to you, go for it. Whatever floats your boat buddy!!!

ooo not a good example at all..... there are a WHOLE lot of excellent singers and rappers who we don't hear anything from these days (or very little)..... and instead hear an aBUNDANCE of non-talent commercial rappers and can't-sing-if-their-life-depended-on-it singers on the radio, in the music stores, and whatnot.... so try again....
