Many of you dislike go-go, yet have never actually been to a show.
Go-Go is a music that is best heard LIVE, kind of like jazz. When you get around people muscling, and beating their feet, you get caught up in the energy.
Kind of like when Bia-Bia first came out.

I never really realized that some people out&out dislike go-go until I got to CAU. I'm no die hard go-go fan but it's hometown music and I love it just the same. It's the vibrance of it....intensity...really can't be beat in my book. I'm tired of defending it so I just say to each their own.
However I still maintain that if you like Doin' tha **** then on some small level you like go-go. I've prolly said this a rack of times but I still believe it. ;-)
Oh yeaah...I heard the go-go version of Common's "Go" today...that joint was crankin'!!
that's actually not by a go-go group... it's by Project Pat and Juvenile...

Mmm.. it's okay. I'm a Texas girl, so I wasn't hip to it until I got to DC. I can take one go-go song at a time, but DJs do go-go like they do reggae... I dunno why they think they have to play 10 songs back to back. Just f*ckin up a party. :???:

Sadly I don't.....I heard it on the radio when I was coming home this evening....WPGC 95.5....butI'll check around and see if I find any links to it.
Im sure that joint was fire....i heard "Pimpin All over the World" with the go go beat-when i was home listenin to 95.5 of course-i lliked that. I really liked when i heard it on the radio down here one rare time. Go Go is the best. I kno i posted in here before-but i jus had to say it again....i really dont see how no one can not like at least ONE go go song.

I live in the metro area, so i like go-go, i listen to it a lot, BYB, TCB, UCB, Rare, MOB, CCB. . . man there is o many, but u can occasionally find my beatin my feet
