Thank goodness I no longer attend Xavier. Damn shame they didn't evacuate people in the dorms..they made em stay right there.... On another note i think its ridiculous for people to be saying " an estimated ###### will die. I mean this is all in God's hands and he is in control. I understand being prepared and keeping others warned, but all that just makes people extremely scared. I mean make sure they know all exact information...but damn

I love New Orleans to man... I was suppose to go to the coast this past weekend with my boyfriend for like a lil romantic getaway...good thing we didnt go! My bf was telling me when he was younger and he stayed in NO how they had a real real bad ****, (I believe he said it was andrew or something like that) and like it was a Cat 5 and like you know new orleans is already at sea level and like down in the french quarters, bodies came out of the tombs. I would have freaked out . He said like the water was super high

*well good carolinians. . we've survived several storms as well.(Hugo, Fran, Floyd) .. but with about 8 or 9 predicted to be left in this **** season, I don't see us escaping 2005 unscathed. All we can do is pray.

I still can't contact any of my friends and family in Hattiesburg. There are an estimated eighty deaths in Harrison County.
