I'm so happy cuz im finally sendin my admission fee and all that! i got accepted in december and i got a capstone scholarship so now all im waitin for is august! i dunno what to expect so can some people tell me what to expect when i get there and stuff and like how howard is??? please nothin bad cuz im too excited and negative stuff will bring me down lol. o yea and im gonna major in psychology and i havent heard much about their program so if anybody had some info thatd be nice
Everybody wants to visit in March...it might still be cold in DC in March. I thought most high school students have spring break in April? I think April would be better, but its up to you Yes, you can just walk around campus...you'll probably be looking lost as hell, lol

Maaaaaan, It would take hours to tell you about all the craziness at Howard lol
But seriously, if you come in late March through early April thats when all the Greeks come out so you'll get to see a few probate shows (Only on Fridays) And it starts getting hot in April, so all the females start comin out they clothes and wearing those short shorts and wife beaters
Some of my favorite parties were the pajama jam, 70’s, lock and key, dang near ****, and luau. There are more, but I will stop. From January until the end of the semester it was non stop. I miss seeing so many intelligent and beautiful sisters.
BUT i get my hair pressed. or well i used to when i lived in cali but people in chicago act like they never heard of a pressin comb. they all wanna flat iron
****! girl im from the chi and yeah the flat iron reigns supreme. im so used to it that when i say lemme get a 'press n curl' she whips out the flat iron and i dont even notice the difference. wasn't until i asked some woman for a press and she was like 'NAW NAW I ONLY DO FLAT IRON' and im like 'OKAY WTF IS THE DIFFERENCE JUST DO SOMETHING TO THIS'
but i feel u...im thinkin of going au naturale myself...the smell of permed hair seems to last for weeks and its mos def not good when u tend to be as active as i am...havin the whole room smellin like Motions
okay is it me or does anyone else feel a little singled out being a transfer student??? i mean dang we dont get a Pre-O ****! i got a feeling that aside from my friends already enrolled at Howard I am going to be friends wit A LOT of freshmen lol despite bein a junior...prolly cuz we'll all be in the same boat. but whatever im just as excited as the rest. all it means is ill be rollin up in dem clubs a little earlier than my friends **** wow
