WE'RE know for improvision and substitution. so what have yall had to use when you ran out of/didn't have/couldn't find the real thing when you were younger?
*aluminum foil for rubberbands when gettin ya hair beaded
*old phone cord for Double-Dutch rope
*garbage bags w/water hose for a Slip&Slide(my ma wasn't gon buy us the real one :lol: )

No Toothpaste? Better use some Bakin Soda
No Soap? Better use that Shampoo as body wash
No Shampoo? Better rub the bar of soap ova ya head
No butter? Use that Crisco and salt.....
don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but newspaper is off tha HOOK if u don't have/ran outta haircurlers :lol: :lol: :lol:

annd whipped cream in place of milk for oatmeal....
let'z see...back when i used 2 have bad toothaches growin' up, the best solution was always burnin' hot salt in a sock....4get buyin' a heat pad

Eww....now thats just gross...Some things you just dont do. If you aint got no syrup, then dammit, eat the pancakes plain or dont eat them at all. :x
lol...well it was a lil pancake syrup left, so she jus mixed 'em together...& hoped we wouldn't notice...
