Does anyone else here believe that the Bible is hilarious?
God smited people for skeeting on the ground, King David **** some guy so he could bone his wife and one guy rapes his sister and desecrates her. You can't get more vile in a book!

So, this I made this post for religious debates because I am considerably bored and Christianity is the easiest to pick on since it's so broken. Who here studies...and I mean STUDIED...the bible?

As a believer I don't know whether to laugh wit yall or be offended. Having fun (not making fun) with the bible is not that big of a deal, but when you begin to mock God and Jesus, you steppin into something more serious than you think. Some of yall better be careful.
Evidence?!?! And if she provided the evidence, would that make you a believer?! Probably not.
I think the problem is that people are reading the bible for the wrong reasons. You read to actually try to make sense of it. To see if things add up according to you. Most messages in the bible will not come across as clear as you would like. A matter of fact, things are interpreted in many different ways. That's why you seek greater guidance whether it be from a church or God.
Trust in The Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Maybe, for you but not everyone else. These people are searching for concrete evidence. It's like they want to see the physical presence of God or see some magical trick performed before there eyes.Perhaps, a miracle?! Even then, there will be skeptics.Remember, Jesus raised the **** and gave the blind sight...People still hated him and didn't believe in the works of God.

let me add that Jesus wan't just a Biblical caracter, but the Dude actually existed...whether or not you believe he's the messiah is the question...

Well, that's the best evidence of God, anyone has put up yet.
It may seem like I'm arguing for the other side; I'm not. I just wish people would figure out why God/Jesus/Holy Ghost exists for other reasons than the inconsistencies in the King James version of the Bible.

i dunno i just get really annoyed with people who think the idea of a higher power is silly....do any of these cats know anything about string theory or parralel universes? do any of these cats know what a wormhole is? no...
this universe is soo complicated...and if you could put the knowledge of man (everything that we know) into a bucket, how much do you think would be filled up? man doen't know sh!t...
