Laugh all you want. Don't say you weren't warned if the hip-hop version of the Super Bowl Shuffle is being played come January in Chi-town. -Pete Prisco

can we mention the Giants or Seahawks going before the damn Bears? they are playing some of the best football in the NFC... even better than Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Carolina... and the Seahawks did beat Atlanta earlier this year...

Yea thats true, I'm not gonna make any excuses for that one. It was a game that could have gone either way had we actually shown up to play in the first half. We did have to travel from one end of the country to the other comin off a Monday night game so we were probably a little tired in the first half. Still though, nothing is gonna stop us from stomping all over the Panthers :-D

The Giants are looking real serious. They've always had the dangerous ground game and recieving out of the backfield, but now Eli is adding in another dimension making them even more dangerous. The defense is coming along more and more every week. The way their playing now in the NFC east, blowing out good opponents and winning tough games, just shows how far they can make it. They'll be making some noise come the post season. No comment on the Seahawks. Just wait and see.... As bad as the Redskins got beat last week, they still deserve to be mentioned. They still have one of the best defenses in the league and the offense has been making strides in the passing game. The only question, can they manage to get a wild card spot?

Well look who's in last place in the NFC East now  I think the Eagles would just be better off getting rid of TO somehow. He has amazing on the field production but his baggage off the field weighs D'Eagles down too much. As seen last night, the Eagles have a pretty decent squad of receivers that can get the job done on their own. The question is, what team is willing to give him the contract he wants and put up with his attitude? Tennessee? Green Bay? This guy is really hurting himself by running his mouth and not being a team player.

Owens' days as an Eagle are over By Jeff McLane INQUIRER STAFF WRITER Wide receiver Terrell Owens will not play for the Eagles again this season, head coach Andy Reid announced today during his day-after-the game news conference. Reid said that Owens has been suspended for four games - starting with yesterday's 17-10 loss to the Washington Redskins - for conduct detrimental to the team. The four games are the maximum amount of time that a player can be suspended for such conduct, according to the collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and its players union. After Owens serves his four games, he will not play for the team for the remainder of the year, Reid said. "I do want to be clear," Reid told reporters, "that this decision was a result of a large number of situations that accumulated over a long period of time in which Terrell had been warned repeatedly about the consequences of his actions. "Even with the activities that took place last week, we gave Terrell every opportunity to avoid this outcome." On Thursday, Owens criticized quarterback **** McNabb and the Eagles organization to an ESPN.com reporter. The previous day, he and former Eagles defensive end Hugh Douglas got into a fight in the locker room at the Eagles practice facility, the NovaCare Complex. Reid didn't answer any questions that specifically addressed the Owens situation. The league has been notified by the players union that it will file a grievance on behalf of Owens for this action. "Therefore, there is nothing more that I can say at this point," Reid said. Owens has been angry with the Eagles since management refused to redo his contract just one season into the seven-year, $48.97 million deal he signed when he came to Philadelphia in March 2004. This was the second time Owens has been suspended during his controversial 10-year career. In 2000, he was suspended one game by San Francisco coach Steve Mariucci following his infamous touchdown celebrations on the Dallas Cowboys' famed star logo at the center of Texas Stadium. Owens clashed with management this summer and earned a one-week exile from training camp after a heated dispute with Reid that followed a clash with offensive coordinator Brad Childress. Owens forced a trade to the Eagles last year after eight seasons with the 49ers. He had 77 catches for 1,200 yards and 14 TDs in 14 games, helping the Eagles to a 13-1 start. The bad blood between Owens and McNabb apparently began after Owens went down with a severely sprained ankle and broken leg in Week 15 against Dallas. Owens was upset that McNabb and other players said the Eagles could reach the Super Bowl without him, which they did. Soon after Philadelphia lost to the Patriots, Owens took his first shot at McNabb, suggesting the five-time Pro Bowl quarterback was tired in the fourth quarter of the loss. McNabb responded harshly and the two didn't speak for a prolonged period in training camp. They eventually reconciled their relationship and performed well together on the field - Owens has 47 catches for 763 yards and six TDs this season. However, Owens continued to throw verbal jabs at McNabb during his weekly radio show or whenever he granted interviews.

Yea I was just about to post that. That is pretty huge news right there. With that move, I think that Philly has been officially eliminated as the class of the NFC. It looks like the East belongs to the Giants now. According to another site that I read, it seems that TO was mad that the Eagles didn't publicly celebrate his 100th career TD catch. The ultimate example of selfishness. Whatever he did, it must have been pretty damn serious to suspend the guy for the whole season. Now TO can sit on his couch for the rest of the season and yap his mouth instead of in front of the camera. I wonder will he still get paid?

he'll go four games w/o pay, then the Eagles have to pay him for the rest of them. But trust, T.O.'s removal only makes the Eagles better. It's not like he was helping the younger recievers and creating team chemistry or anything. His distractions did just as much harm or more to others, than his actual production on field helped. The Eagles won't do much this year on account that they don't have a legitimate ground running back and mcnabb isn't healthy, and plus the nfc east is just so competitive. But remember they were the class of the nfc with todd pinkston and james thrash at wr. They won playoff games without T.O. and one season they even did it w/ crappy recievers and a third string qb. T.O. is gone and that's only going to help them. Now i'd like to see what team will actually want him.
