cause your mom probably thought the tuition for skegee was outrageous... :? so, maybe she's just puttin you at a white school for just a year, until enough money is saved up to go to skegee... you never know, good fortune may come your way :wink:

just simply walk up to her and ask her if y'all can talk, and then say your piece, and listen to her side, and see what happens from there...
