Yay im goin to howard! Posted on 02-05-2008

I'm so happy cuz im finally sendin my admission fee and all that! i got accepted in december and i got a capstone scholarship so now all im waitin for is august! i dunno what to expect so can some people tell me what to expect when i get there and stuff and like how howard is??? please nothin bad cuz im too excited and negative stuff will bring me down lol. o yea and im gonna major in psychology and i havent heard much about their program so if anybody had some info thatd be nice

Umm yeah a 75 percent bright future scholarship to any Florida State college/university.......(it doesnt cover room and board lol)

Its not that far at all. It takes about 15 to 25 minutes depending on which way you go. Using the metro is a very effective way of getting around the area.

There are plenty of rough areas; however, the area surrounding Howard isn't so hood. Some of the neighborhoods you might notfeel so comfortable just walking through though. There are also some really nice neighborhoods as well though.

Im from kansas and im kind of getting nervous about being in a major city...ive been to san francisco and chicago and love being in those but what ive been hearing about d.c kind of scares me with the whole being hood thing...

Yea, signing day has passed and yea you can... funny thing about that is most people who sign on signing day still decommit. .. A letter of intent is about as bonding as child support is to T.I. ,which is not at all ....lol. But I have an offer from hampton 3/4 scholarship and room and board with 5k Finacial Aid , One from FAMU and then Howard ... ECU, and Maryland were talking about walking on ... P.S. Man my father got problems yo ... lol dnt say im grown so loud he might hear you.****.
