I think it's pretty sad of y'all, the fact that 98% of the forum never even heard of the man till Chappelle's Show came out. Some folks even GOTS JOKES at a time like this.
For shame on y'all. Have a lil' respect for the man, please. And whatever the "natural causes" were, I'm pretty sure will be solved by the autopsy, so just with a couple of days, OK?
For now, just give your condolences to the late, great Rick James and his family....and NO MORE JOKES, PLEASE???

yeah...i've been tellin my mom all day that a lot of our generation would probably be as concerned about him or his passing if it weren't for Chapelle, the incident on tha BET awards, & whatnot...
& i personally wouldn't joke about him or the situation w/ this having happened, BUT...like someone had mentioned earlier in the thread (can't remember who it was), I doubt if Rick James would mind...
there are some souls (that once they've passed) you know would actually prefer that people stay lighthearted & even joke at a time like this, rather than be so sad & gloomy...
I could see Rick James being like that...but anywayz...
