okay, i know we have had a job at one point in time, and if so, name some things that someone (customer, co-worker) has done to aggravate you or has done some pretty stupid sh*t.... and if you want name some dumb things you have done....
i was tellin my girl about the three dumbest things that have happened to me on the job...
1. when you're at the register, and your light is on, and people ask "are you open"
2. when a regular customer comes in looking for the special, knowin that all the discounts come off at the end, still ask if there discounts came off.... look on the damn receipt
3. my first night on the register i was $30 short i felt like an **** that night, but they was easy on me... (they're not easy on these new cashiers, they mess up, and they're gone)

i worked @ Target 2 summerz ago...& i know one thing that I used 2 couldn't understand was how people would have like 5 people in front of 'em in line, a million items in their cart, and in otha wordz ALL THA TIME IN THA WORLD, but would neva USE that time 2 begin writin they check....they wait right until they get up there & everything's scanned 2 ask "what's the date?"...if u got ALL THAT TIME, i'mma need 4 u 2 @ least write everything but tha PRICE so we can keep thangz movin PLEASE :x :x :x
also...got a new appreciation 4 takin thingz up wit tha head people in charge....'cause when ya workin @ a department store & sales r on, off, on, off, on, off...everyone always got issues & try ta get loud wit ME - I ain't cha problem, sweety...U need ta take that ta store manager or store OWNER :x :x :x
I work at McDonald's and people always come in there trying to order Biggie Fries and Junior Bacon cheeseburgers or one time this man came through driv-thru trying to order a Whopper. This one night this dude came in there high and ordered 4 Double Quarter Pounders and got mad when the total came to 8 dollars and he claimed he said double cheeseburgers I hate when people tell me the wrong thing and then end up saying I got it wrong I had to tell this white woman off who tried to say that I was incompetent. That's why I like drive-thru you don't have to worry about the customer, just get the money and take the order and you through.

I remember I worked at Popeye's and one day my drawer was like $200 short. They made me flip my pockets...wouldn't let me leave. I'm sitting there like what the hell is going on...it wasn't me. Come to find out me and this girl switched registers in the middle of the day, but since it was like lunch time and everybody was in a rush we both forgot to sign on to the new registers.

I was a hostess and often had to go in and out of the kitchen for various reasons. Well I noticed throughout the day that these two cooks had been beefin like all day long, but I'm like they friends...its gonna be ok. So later that night I'm in the kitchen and things finally pop off between them. One dude threatened the other dude with a butcher ****...then the dude was like "Ah hell naw...let me go to my car" :arrow: my **** was back up front
Work for the IT/Networking Dept. so I work on people's internet connections and computers.
This one girl called my office and said that the network cable she bought at the bookstore didn't fit her computer. We went by the room, and the girl was mad as hell becuase she couldn't plug the cord in. When I asked if she had a network card, she replied "Huh?" (that should have been a sign... but I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt). Then I asked to see the cord, I didn't want to move the computer if I didn't have to. So the showed me the cord. I looked on the back of her computer and she had no network card, so I was hoping to God Almighty that she was trying to plug this thing into the modem, since the two jacks are similar. So I asker her to show me which port she was trying to plug her cable into. She takes the cable from me and tries to plug it into the USB port... I wanted to strangle her with that cord so bad... I don't even know how the hell she made it into college... :roll:
1. I WORKED AT A LOT OF GROCERY STORES WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL AND I HATED IT WHEN YOUR LIGHT IS ON AND SOMEONE ASKS IF YOU'RE OPEN.
2. I USED TO HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE CAME THRU MY LINE AND TRIED TO SHORT CHANGE ME. "I GAVE U A 20" "NO U GAVE ME A 5". WHEN THIS HAPPENED I USED TO CUT MY LIGHT OFF, CALL A MANAGER AND HAVE THEM COUNT MY TILL TO SEE IF I WAS SHORT, BY THAT TIME, THE PERSON HAS ALREADY LEFT.
3. THIS ONE TIME WHEN I WORKED AT WINN-DIXIE, THIS GUY CAME THRU MY LINE AND HAD A LOT OF PRODUCE. SO I WEIGHED IT, RUNG IT UP AND GAVE HIM HIS TOTAL. HE WANTED ME TO RE-WEIGHT IT AND RE-RING IT UP BECAUSE HE DIDN'T AGREE WITH THE PRICE.
I ALSO HATED OTHER CASHIERS WHO COULDN'T COUNT MONEY AND WOULD ASK U HOW MUCH CHANGE TO GIVE A CUSTOMER BACK.
WHEN A KNEE GROE COMES THRU YOUR LINE AND HOLDS YOUR LINE UP SO THEY CAN GET YOUR NUMBER, KNEE GROE KEEP MOVIN.
THEM DAMN EBT (FOOD STAMP) CARDS AND WIC CHECKS. UUUUGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!
THOSE OLD LADIES WHO CAME THRU THE LINE AND DUMP ALL THEIR CHANGE OUT ON THE COUNTER AND ASKS U TO COUNT OUT THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF CHANGE, WHEN U HAVE A THOUSAND PEOPLE BEHIND HER. THEN THEY KEEP ASKING YOU "HOW MUCH WAS IT AGAIN" LIKE 5 MILLION TIMES.

Oh yes i have encountered the most stupid people at work-I use to work at this grocery store called Farm Fresh (Food Lion's competitor in my area) and even though the job and customers were sh!t-the people who i worked with made it fun:
1.) One day a lady comes to my register and asks me.....(get ready ya'll) "DO YOU GUYS SELL LEMONS?".....i know i was jus standing there looking at her for like 5 minutes thinking "Is this woman serious?'.....I was like yea, this is FARM FRESH....she was like ok can u ring me up for two of them...then she come back and try to start stuff talkin bout i aint ring her up for the right kind of lemons
2.) Im walking back from my break.....in my very **** green and black Farm Fresh uniform, name tag and all.....and this man comes to me and asks me..."Excuse me, do u work here?"-->i should have said "NO, this is just one of my favorite outfits and i wear a Farm Fresh name tag cuz its pretty" :roll:
3.) I hated when people brought me produce items and if i didnt know what the hell it was, i would ask the customer....and they would be like "Uhhh...i dont know, but i think its on sale"-NEGROES i dont need the sale price....i need to know what the hell that is so i can type in the code-and then they get angry if the price doesnt seem "right".
4.) A customer tells my CSR that me and another employee were disrespectful because we were talking about a movie we had seen while we were bagging her groceries......my CSR was like ok ma'm ill take care of it-then she comes to us and was like dont mind that b!tch :lol:
5.) Im at the register that says 10 ITEMS OR LESS and CASH ONLY-these dumba$$ people gonna make me ring up all they sh!t, and then be like "Oh this is cash only?".....Im like yea, the sign is right there-they be like Oh i thought it was for the other register...and then they get mad at me
6.) This is the funniest one-Im at the 10 Items & Cash Only register again-a man comes through with 12 bottles of water. I tell him this is the express lane....and he yells at me saying all i have to do is ring them all up at once-they are one item. I tell him No they are not, but since there are lines i'll ring u up anyway even though im not supposed to (tryin to be nice...*smh*)-he was like they are one item anyway...i was like no they are not-i ring up his damn water and he pays for it-and im tryin to hold back my laugh, but it comes out anyway-and he was like where is ur manager...i told him-my manager comes back "He was a a$$-he had 12 things...dont worry bout that" LOL
7.) OOOO I hate WIC Checks and EBT Cards (Food Stamps)-especially when negroes want YOU to tell them how much they have on they card before they buy somethin......Or they dont have enough and they hold ur line up takin off addin stuff on....or when i be like u owe me 3 cents-they bout to blow my head off-its for the damn coupons-or when they come up there wit steamed crabs or shrimp and i tell them they cant buy that wit the card-they be gettin attitudes and ish-i jus be laughin...and WIC jus take too damn long-this one lady came to me wit like 5 WIC checks....i aint have no line left after her... 8)

errrr i work un retail so most of the things that the customers do is annoying...but my number one pet peeve is when people dont put thier money in my hand....they put it on the friggin counter :x
