I never understood why ppl say that jay z is the best rapper because quite frankly i dont see whats soo hott about him!! He just spits and makes weird sounds. So i try to listen to his lyrics...... waiting... waiting.... waiting.....still nothing worth a dime of my money.. What is it?
He use to be the hottest rapper back when he had the blueprint , Hard knock life, Resonable Doubt & Black album all b4 his retirement. Of course he isnt now but if you listen to his lyrics b4 and mixtapes youll prolly get it.. and if not.....different things float different peoples boat.
I know he's disrespectful to women. I've seen him actually hit a young girl on her face and pushed her down because she took his picture.
His lyrics are alright. I think one of the best lyricists are Eminem and the late Biggie Smalls and Tupac. Haven't heard anybody that can top them.
i agree. eminem has some hard hittin **** even though i was very disappointed with the Encore. his best album was The Marshall Mather LP hands down. but as for Jay-Z i've never been a die hard fan. he does nothing for me. im also startin to get into Lupe Fiasco...yet another Chi town production. represent
