MIRROR IMAGE (Something for me...Sweetie)

MIRROR IMAGE I stand here in the full length mirror trying to figure out what it is that they see... a big girl with big shoulders, big legs and wide knees, large face...somewhat of a double chin yes this is all me! I find it funny that people tend to be scared to look from the inside out... and be exposed to the true beauty i bare...cause see I-AM-QUEEN I come from a background where big is beautiful... that being so... how come i seem to be worth nothing in today's society? No...I'm not afraid of the media... I won't hide myself beCUZ of the media... I don't give a doggone about the image they created for me... Because i'm goin' be me!! thats the way GOD wanted it to be! you see... I-AM-STRONG I drum my non-painted fingernails, against the gold trim on the wall... and think about all the words you threw at me... thinking they'll make me fall... but it all seems hilarious to me... do you really think you are as beautiful as you percieve yourself to be? There are scars and bruises that corupts your entity... I see ruins on your face of your far-fetched reality... Overwhelmed by unexplainable insanity.... the words escaping from your mouth are wrapped up in profanity... and yet you waste all your time pointing out my flaws... when you can't defend yourself when yours are rockin' ya own jaw... People stop trying to bury me... when i've worked so hard for my high self-esteem... Judging me by all my PHY-SI-CAL-I-TIES... Not letting me be me... But i am beyond you!....You see... I-AM-BEAUTY I've been blessed with the chocolates, been kissed by the sun... it left sparkles on my skin...my beauty is like none... rich with my african juices...thick with my body's music.. Big girls hold your head up high with confidence... because WE are BEAUTIFUL... But for all you non-thick believers... you go on and do you... but i suggest you stand back... you making this image crack... and OUR BEAUTY... just might...CUT you!
