about Alabama State University..ASU? it seems like that univ. is a mysteryy no one really talks about it on here.. well if ANYBODY knows anything can u share some information pleasee because i would really like to kno

I don't think there are any current students or alumni that are active in the forums right now. So all that you can get right now are generalized answers to your questions, if they can't be answered from ASU's website.

Well I go to Tuskegee but I have visited ASU a couple of times. I also have friends there. I might be able to get you in contact with them or answer some of your ?s. I know some things about the campus and Montgomery as a city. Montgomery is the main place Tuskegee students go for civilization if they don't want to make long drive to ATL.

well my dad just finished a project there so i know a little about the town in general but not the school based on what my dad says: still racially divided aint much to do asu is like the only thing montgomery has a slow moving city basically my dad did not enjoy living there

Well Montgomery is the capital of Alabama. It's the best thing Bama has going for it besides Birmingham. If you are from a big city it will be still an adjustment because you are in the deep south. The South has a different culture.

yeahh i heard about the racism still being a issue and not having much to do..geez thats gon be hard for me cuz where i'm at, theres always something going on..sooo slow moving city.. ehhh well i'll see when i go visit in the near future.. thanks for da input!

racism is still an issue in America. PERIOD. sad to say.... Montgomery was a hotbed of racism during the Civil Rights movement. Those same people and their ideals still reside there.
