He was just using her as an example of people, that are a part of his life, that he can't disown because of their views. LOL He wouldn't be the man he is today, if it wasn't for the driving force of his pastor and the nurturing of his grandmother.
I don't like how the media is painting a horrible image of this Pastor Wright. They are taking only a few clips of his sermons and not showing some of the positive things he has said. As much mission work the Pastor Wright is doing in Africa and helping the community, the man has a good heart. I don't like how white people are trying to paint an image as if he's like the ****. They are doing everything they can to tear down Obama, and Obama didn't even make those racial statements. I enjoyed Obama's speech because he took it beyond the controversy of Pastor Wright but addressed things the nation, as a whole, need to examine. His speech was in due season. He took what people meant for bad and turned it around for good.

Well, he needs to continue to switch the subject. He has done enough defending the controversial statements of his pastor, and now it is time for him to move on. Obama shouldn't say anything else about the situation, and just focus on important issues. All of this stuff is just a distraction from the important things.

I doubt the media was actually the culprit on this one. Hilary's campaign probably leaked this to the media. She is playing real dirty, and it wouldn't surprise me if it gets revealed that her campaign leaked this stuff. Obama is choosing not to play dirty politics, because I'm sure he could bring a lot of dirt on Hilary to the forefront. He's choosing to be a gentleman, and that shows a lot about his character.

At this point, he does need to try and move on. However it wasn't up to him to defend his pastor's statements. It was up to him to defend his stance on his pastor's statements. If this is one of the people that he is going to seek guidance from, we have a right to know that he's getting his info from the correct sources. That kind of stuff gets us stuck going implementing wars incorrectly. He didn't explain himself which means that when the Republicans dig down in that a$$ (if you thought this was our work, you're sorely mistaken... you haven't seen us get on that a$$ yet) come August, he's going to get run in the ground.
