Prisoners re-enter society

Hi everyone, I think that every person has his right to live in a society no matter even if he was a prisoner in his early life. Most of the prisoners are racial or ethnic minorities and have difficulty in re-entering the society as they are faced with poverty and this leads to crime for which they are re-arrested are convicted and re-incarcerated and this adds a burden on the government in respect of tax-payers. What are your views on this?

Yea like SMC put it.. to general and vague... are you talking about all prisioners because haneous murders then would be applicable teachers or lunch ladies, and uh i like my school food ammonia free. But your accurate in the fact that their are deficiencies in the adaptablity of prisoners to the real world, but hey they're deficincies eva-re-whea...

I think that people who do time behind bars usually get hit twice - first, they lose most of their belongings, job, reputation etc. by being arrested, then aren't able to get employed once they are released because they now have a criminal record. As a result, there is an incentive to commit crime. Granted, there are many ex-cons with absolutely no intent of living a law-abiding lifestyle, but there should be more options for those convicted of small crimes who honestly want to turn things around. Ultimately we will pay one way or another - whether it's our tax dollars going to prison costs, higher crime in our neighborhoods, etc.
