Rush comments on black president Posted on 04-24-2008
fedral

Hi, to the community. I think that it was good of Rush **** to express his views on a Black President and to prove that he is not a racist has promoted Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice as strong candidates for presidential status. I think that it was fair on the part of Rush to say about is comments on a black president. I think that we should thank him….shouldn’t we?

I think that the **** would support a black candidate, provided he/she promotes their campaign platform, and isn't seen as a moderate. If someone like Walter Williams, Condolezza Rice, or J.C. Watts entertained the idea of running for President, they would probably have a strong backing. As a matter of fact, it's been said that ****. Rice, as well as former Maryland gubernatorial candidate Michael Steele are actively positioning themselves for a VP nomination. Not sure if this will lead to anything serious, but I think many Republicans are looking for a more conservative VP candidate to balance out John McCain who is seen as too moderate. Whoever the candidate would be, if there is a strong stance on one of the key issues (restricting illegal immigration, tax reform, increasing defense spending or prevention of ****, or promoting American businesses) they would probably get support. But I think it's pretty unlikely for a VP spot this year.

Good post. I'd like to see Romney as McCains VP. It would also be super to see Powell, Watts, or Rice in that spot. Williams (if I'm thinking of the right person)I think that in spite of his intellect and conservative spirit comes off as too frantic in debate.
