How do you all feel? Nearly 190 people were arrested this past Wed. [[including al sharpton and Bell's fiance]] during a rally protesting the unfair acquittal of the police officers who murdered Sean Bell. Although I believe those 190 people did "volenteer" to be arrested, if the occasion should arrise, don't you think the actions taken by NYPD were to the extreme? And what does this court decision mean for us and the rest of Black America?

It was an extreme case of trigger-happy NYPD. I'm not a police officer or anything, but I'm simply positive that fifty rounds don't need to be fired simply because a man said the word gun. It's sickening.
Nonetheless, what those volunteers did, was pointless. Sure, it shows the public empathy, but it didn't change the verdict of the case. To tell the truth, the whole case and verdict just shows that though we as the Black community have come very far, we still have a long way to go. It seems to me as though we are still 'three-fifths' of a people in the government's eyes.
I dont consider this racist, but they definitely abused their authority. In my opinion they all should get the same treatment that Sean Bell got. Put 50 bullets in their assess.
Before anybody hops on my case, I dont consider it racist becuz everytime blacks and whites get into it, its not racism. If it were 3 black cops that shot a white man, Al Sharpton wouldn't care, and the black cops would have gotten off. Real Talk.
