im guessing ur going 2 be a senior in highschool this fall (just like me..yay!).lol.ne who the SAT and the ACT have different test schedules but i dont think any of them are before September. when is the deadline for early action for howard? how do u find those dates out (collegeboard?) b/c alot of the colleges im looking into are still dated 2007-2008.

the fall 2008 deadline is November 16 so I think it should be around the same date but I want to apply around late sept. or early oct. is this possible... HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR OH YEAH BABY (does a little dance)

i believe u caaann apply early at the time u chose. i was talking to my sister about the same thing and she was like you can always apply now and collegeboard or whoever sends ur SAT scores will send it to them whenever you get your results (if you go through collegeboard to send ur scores u'll have to tell them which schools to send it to). so long as your application is on file that's all that matters. u can ask someone who may know more about it but i believe thats the only logical approach to the situation. do ur application and send ur scores when u receive them. hope im making some sense.lol yay 2009!!

onnnnee more thing, if the deadline is November 16 y dont u fill out your application now, take the SAT on October 4th (thats the earliest test date for the SAT)be sure to register for the SAT before September 9th though, u'll get ur scores in about 3 weeks 4 weeks at the most, so you should get it before november 16. all ud have to do then is fill in your scores and send them off! yay!

WOW If I lived that close I would'nt want to attend either...I don't even want to go to a school in San Diego don't get me wrong SD is beautiful and all but i want to explore more than life here the schools are great and the beaches and weather are awesome but I wan't to live life on my own for awhile...If I stay in California I would probably be home almost every day... I love my mom but I have to grow up at some point and face the world... how are the people there...I ask because you said they don't appeal to you I'm looking into a few other schools but HOWARD I my number one...

San Diego seems like a cool place but i don't think id be strong.brave enough to travel all the way to the other end of the country.lol. i understand about the getting away thing. if i stayed here in DC i would have to deal with my parents and my school work and i cant do both.id rather call them 2 or 3 times a week in GA as appose to having to come home every weekend.I'm afraid they might still make my do chores and stuff.lol, i need freedom b/c sooner or l8er I'll have to be on my own not just for college ya know. -->when i say the people don't appeal to me i mean people in DC in general. i cant say much for Howard students b/c i haven't really spoken to any but the 1s that i have spoken to seem genuinely cool. DC inst like the south where every1 is polite to each other. it really depends what part of DC you are in (i guess that goes for all the other states too) the area that Howard is in isn't necessarily the best but its not the worst either. a few crack heads here and there but what state doesn't have those.****! there are some stores and eateries by the school and sometimes when you are walking off campus it would be hard 2 tell who's a college student and who's a high school student b/c there are about 3 different schools that aren't too far from Howard (my school being across the street). if u want to go shopping and u don't like the options that are located right outside Howard u can either go to the new "mall"(not really a mall but it sorta kinds it **** b/c there aren't many options, its like just a few stores including target, best buy, Marshalls..etc) a train ride away. DC doesn't really have any malls but the good thing about the situation is that DC,MD and VA are so close that u can get on a bus or train (we have lots of those here, and the train station is down the street from Howard) and go to the malls in MD or VA.ill tell you more about them if u want just ask. there are also clubs in DC. a couple are by the waterfront on the south side the scenery is beautiful..depending which areas ur in. anything else you want to know about DC?lol I could go on and on really. ==>oh yea: and when you get down here u'll find out more about Go-Go music, and mumbo sauce (thats like the best sauce to put on chicken and french fries when u order from the carryout...try it!)
