SERIOUSLY..what is a diploma from HOWARD worth?.. Posted on 06-29-2008
Mayor of NYC

this has been a discussion forever. and it was the reaosn why i never applied to howard or any HBCU. it has come to my attention that there are disadvantages when it comes to attending a HBCU and graduating with a degree from a HBCU..it is said that you will have a harder time finding a career job with them knowing you went to a all black school...is this indeed true?..are they bias against kids who attended a black school?

It probably will be a disadvantage, because a white employer wants a diversified person, because society is diversified. But hopefully the employer looks at your overall intelligence and character.
