Anyone ever been
Because i always wanted to join part time
So if you have been than tell me a lil about it
How long is Basic?
Was it hard?
How much money did you make?
Air Force is prolly the easiest of the armed services. Basic is only 6 weeks, (Navy is 8, Marines 12, I think Army is 9). How much you make depends on your paygrade (rank). If you've had 3-4 years of high school rotc (me) you'd enter as an E3, making around 2-3,000 a month, plus benefits like dental, medical, insurance, housing, etc.
I cant really tell you about air force life, having never served, but thats the stuff thas the same in all branches.

Air Force is the weakest branch of the armed forces and the youngest. You have to be very smart to get in...thats y they turned me down for a scholarship. Basic like he said is 6weeks and you only need to be in JROTC for 2 years to get the E3 PFC rank.
if i was you, i would go army..(thats what im doing after college ROTC)...they are better than Air Force...
but yea thats about it
which branch is betta depends onwha u want outta life. its easier to do air force and go to college then it is any other branch b/c the air force has its own community colleges on base. they have alot more jobs that you can use in civilian life. and they dont see direct combat, unless of course you're a pilot. *shrugs* its all about perception
