Anyway, I am a graduationg senior at CAU, class of 2005, and first I want to say congratulations. you made the right choice. Okay, CAU like other schools are surrounded by the hood, lol. But there are other colleges around and tons of stuff to do in Atlanta in general. Just don't get carried away, lol. Good places to eat depends on the kind of food you like, but CAU itself is surrounded by soul food resturants, fast food places, and small mom and pop type of places, whic hcan actually be very good. Just try to stay away from the food at Stegal's (lol, you'll find out what I mean). Be nice to everybody when you first get there, spread as much CAU and AUC luv as possible, and try to keep that positive attitude that you have when you first get there. As far as clubs/teams to join, just find you niche, whatever it is you like and are good at. Also, at least as a freshman, consider joining spirit boosters, it's a great way to meet people. Look out for upper classmen who try to take advantage of freshman, and look out for locals.Anything else you want to know, I'm here to help!

Welcome to the AUC. I go to Morehouse, but CAU ain't but a short walk. Plenty to do, plenty to see, and plenty of people to meet. Welcome to the family.
