NC A&T Transfer Student

So I've been in the Army for the last 8 years. (pretty much two weeks after I graduated from high school). Now I'm leaving the Army to finish up my degree full-time. BIG KICKER Coming up. I am a Single Mom. I want to know what are safe/affordable places to live in Greensboro. Also I want to know what are some good/affordable day cares/elementary schools in the area?
