Those who have already experienced @ least one year of college...what are some things...habits...or routine events that you gotta readjust from when you come home for break, the weekend, etc. from school?liiiike...
one BIG one for me...is not talkin' on the phone at anytime before 8 or 9pm Mon-Fri....y'know, wit everybody's nighttime/weekend cell minutes u gotta work around, plus class schedules, & ish...it really ain't too easy (or common) to get up on tha tele with people during tha day at college....
So when i'm at home, it's the middle of a weekday, & a friend calls me on my cell, i'm like . . . huh? haha (Dwayne, THIS INCLUDED U THAT DAY U & CHRISELLA CALLED...i was like...wth?! lol)...
another one...jus' decidin' to up & go for a walk with a friend or two....at 3 in tha mornin'...for no reason...without hearin' grief from any "headz of tha household" :?
it being 2nd nature to come in at FIVE in the mornin'.....on a school night....& not hearin' any type of grief, 3rd degree, etc....no explanation needed for ANYone...'cept yaself when u tryna wake up in a few hourz 4 that 8am :?
when my mama is talkin' my ear off, tryna get loud (or GETTING LOUD), and gettin' on my case about whateva....i know that i only got a few more seconds (no more than minutez...instead of MONTHS :evil until one of us hang up...& i can move on with my life ....'till the next time she calls :evil:

Listen to the parents nag in person, it was a whole lot easier for them to get upset on the phone, I just moved the phone away when they yelled. But now....I gotta actualy listen to they naggin right in front of me
The occassional call from my parents asking "where are u"...at school, I never reported to anyone, but now, they call me if it gets past 1 a.m....I be like dang leave me alone, I am aight

my mama tries not to call when i'm out pass 1am w/ friends...but she might text message me askin if i'm okay, lol
especially don't let me be out pass 1 w/ a guy friend...Lawwwwwd...her AND my brother....i jus think about when i'm up @ school & as far she knows, i'm in my dorm, chillin'...thas tha beauty of a cell phone .....haha, it's all good tho...a MONTH & some change, that's all it is - a MONTH & some change :arrow:

Man i gotta watch what I say on the phone when im at home. Dont let me be cakin too hard Mom gonna be all like who u talkin to..... A nig cant even chill in his room on his bed wit the lights out and cake.
I cant just get up and leave the house anytime I want. I always gotta tell somebody that im leavin.

:arrow: I can definitely relate to that one cause I cant be just cussin on the phone if Im in the living room or sumthin cause my mom will get on my case about it, or just be talkking about stuff that my mom wouldnt see appropriate.
:arrow: Coming and going out with guys I just met without my mom being like " what guy are you going out with, where you know him from...etc.. " basically giving me the third degree about who Im going out with.

she hardly eva care about tha few tight female friends i have who call...but LAWWD LET IT BE A BOY...& since i have waaaay more guy friends than female onez & talk 2 'em a WHOLE lot more than tha chicas as well....i always end up puttin' my ringer on silent, as of like 9pm :?...
and if it'z on silent & i notice it goin' while i'm in tha presence of my mama....i wait 'till i ain't around her...& call 'em back 8)
it wouldn't be so bad if #1, she reMEMBERED who's who so i don't have 2 keep runnin' down ery'body's story/background/DNA everytime they call :roll:....and #2, she didn't act like i gotta like EVERY dude i'm cool with :roll: :roll:
everybody talkin bout their moms being on their case try having ur dad on ur case. him askin who im talking to and im on my cell phone that i pay the bill for. everytime i come home i gotta get used to being everyones chaufer (spell check). u know...take ur sisters here, pick ur sisters up, take ur grandma here, pick grandma....like damn dont ne one drive aroumd here
and another thing what is so wrong with staying up or out late and sleeping late in the day..since when has that become a problem? and it kills me to have to listen to him nag and worry at least at school i could pretend my cell was breaking up or i was busy or something.........damn i cant wait to go back to school..*runs checks calender* still no where near august 21
until one of us hang up...& i can move on with my life
