It is very possible to have a meaningful relationship @ HU w/ another student @ HU, but it is highly unlikely.. at least if you are a freshman.. usually the good relationships jumpoff during your upperclassmen years, cuz by then, e'rybody is tryna get a degree and they are thinking w/ the right head..(girls 2).. Usually, people are most trifling during the 1st year.. (I'm not biased.. I was a freshman too..)...
Last year, as a freshmen, I came to Howard with a boyfriend. Now being from Cali and having a boyfriend remain in Cali was hard to deal with, but we worked through it. Of course I found other guys attracted, but I always knew I had him in my corner. I think having a relationship with another Howard student is the same as having a relationship with someone who does not attend Howard. As long as there's trust and honesty, there's a relationship.
I'm coming to HU with a girlfriend!!!!!! ........... Not that anybody really cares though lol.
that's cool hun. I wish u the best of luck with that, cuz i know that it's hard for guys (the whole ratio thing). Is she going to be stayin in Cali, or movin as well? Either way...it'll be a struggle. But true love is worth the effort.
Yeah, it won't be so bad because we didn't go to the same school, and she is coming to HU with me......we're trying to take most of the same classes together, :o but it looks like it's not gonna work out

homiegirl, i would be your witness...but i wouldn't be speakin from experience (never did the whole "relationship" thing). But true love is powerful...at least that's what i hear :?
And that's real cool Ncomplete. I hope everything works out with u and her. And don't worry about the whole class thing. I know u guys care about each other. But trust me, u will NOT want have all of your classes together, plus be together all the time afterwards. U guys will get sick of each other in no time. I've seen it happen.
Its possible, hell, anythings possible.
Its a lot of triflin folks at Howard tho, so if you can manage to sort through all the BS people you will no doubt encounter and find someone worthwhile, then good luck and more power to you. I met some straight up fools for the year and a half that I spent dating guys at Howard. And boy could I tell u some dating horror stories.
I mean, part of me cant even be mad at the brothers at Howard, If I was a dude and was out numbered by so many beautiful women then I would act a fool too.
Its a trip, but I can say my experiences paid off in the end and made me a better (smarter) woman.
