I feel what you saying to an extent cause Im not impressed with having either Bush or Kerry in office and they are the only two real candidates at this point. Ima vote, but I have no idea who cause Im just not SATISFIED with either...and Im not gonna automatically vote for Kerry just cause Im not a Bush fan...The way it looks for me...Ima end up voting for Ross Perot...lol...Is he running again by the way???
well, if you don't want to vote, it seems like the biggest complainers are the ones who don't vote before... maybe if you got up off your **** and just punch a few ballots in, you can at least say something about who's in office even if who you voted for loses... that's why you should vote... make a difference :

 I agree but what will it take for people to lose the negative attitudes about voting???
i still don't know who imma vote for....we should have more than one person in office and at least they could negotiate different points of view...but if Bush could get in office, anybody can...(especially if u had past family members in office and/or if your name is known already)

Oh...I will vote..but I don't like the options that we have..For people to act as if I don't have a clue about politics are off big time..I've done research on everyone and I'm not really impressed..
people who do not vote and complain make me sick... really if you do not vote.. your opinion does not count.... being the son of an elected official i guess makes me politically active.... i have been working on voter registration drives since i was 10..
Well vote so u can be herd..
But if u wanna know who i'm rocking the vote for
It's Mr. Bush
Why you may ask
Because we need him at this time of need. He is a great prez but he was faced with alot of b/s when he got the job. Than 9/11 didnt make it no better. People can say what they want 2 say about him and his ways. But what do you know about Mr. Kerry anyway who is this guy. I would have rather seen Howard Dean run against Gwb but hey it didnt happen that way. So imma stick with Bush. I like his out look and where he is taking the United States!
i think what he is trying to say is that you can't ever get the man you want to be president in office, all your vote does is say who you don't want to be in office, the lesser of two evils, if you dont like the democrat and y ou dont like the republican candidate or the liberal/independent, you are screwed, there is nothing you can do, its like going to the grocery store and asking for peaches, but the only choices are apples and oranges, and once you make the pick, the grocer will throw whatever item you choose at you for 4 years, so you pick the orange because you think it will hurt less than being pummeled by apples... then there is the nectarine... it looks like a peach, and the sign says "a nectarine aint nothing but a baldheaded peach" but it is still not the thing you are looking for, so you have to settle...
on the other topic about a group of people being president, we DO have a checks and balances system where nobody can have too much power, plus we have advisors, cabinets, shelves, tables, chairs, whatever and a vice president, and the executive legislative and judicial branches
