P o e t i q R e i g n
Greensboro, NC
WHICH election do you think will end up being, overall, more controversal - this one coming up (U.S. Presidential Election '04) or the most previous one (U.S. Presidential 2000)? WHICH do you feel is more controversal approx. 4 months prior...?? as in...do you feel the 2000 elections in July 2000 were as controversal as these coming up are now??? WHICH do you feel will have had the most controversal outcome??? and WHY???

If Bush is re-elected there is only one way that he wins... BLACK PEOPLE DIDN'T GO OUT AND VOTE!

This may be a bit off topic but a poly sci friend told me that black people vote at the same rate as white people. Its just that there are more white people in this country. I think there will be recounts this election though...like serious one's like what happened in Florida.

oh yeah, one more thing i wanna add... i keep thinking there's no possible way that Bush could win this election w/ all of the people who absolutely deSPISE him right about now....but I keep forgetting that when it all comes down 2 it, it's the electoral votes that matter... so really, i mean...there's no possible way he could win the POPULAR vote....& as for electoral votes, well....mmmm, no comment on that... & this AM dj my mama listens 2 said best....just think about the POPULAR vote like this....GORE WON THE POPULAR VOTE IN 2000 & they tried 2 make it close call, but the fact of the matter was, ENOUGH PEOPLE DIDN'T VOTE FOR GEORGE....so if ENOUGH DIDN'T WANT HIM THEN, and the majority of America didn't even know what he was REALLY about then...IMAGINE HOW MANY ARE GONNA NOT VOTE FOR HIM NOW (w/ mostly everyone having seen & recognized his true colors)!!!!! didn't think about it like that, but it's true...if GEORGE wins the popular vote...SOMEthin TRUly had to have been FIXED.

yep, i agree... & what u said about Whites' outnumbering Blacks in population being the reason why it apPEARS that Blacks don't vote...or don't vote enough... that's why I say it comes down to the so-called other "minorities"...particularly beginning with Hispanics b/c I'm TELLin' ya'll....maaan, I don't even know if I believe Hispanics are a minority & Whites still the majority in America after all these years....if Hispanics aren't TRUly the majority yet, they are close as HELL - they just GOTTA be.
