Okay I see that a lot of you gals are scared to use tampons so I made a thread to discuss our fears on what kind of sanitary item we use for that time of month.
I actually prefer not to use the products that man makes (plus there bad for the envrioment). I use my own household devices when that time comes....u know a sock here and there
Hahahah no but i use pads cause i never really got that **** thing down

*Whispers* Did she scroll down and see i was playin :?
i've tried tampons but i'm so terrified of it getting lost or me getting TSS or something else that i've decided to only use them when i have to run track or if i'm going to be somewhere where a leak could be really mortifying. :? other than that i've been with pads for about five years and they've been working the best for me.
I use both. It was hard to get me to use tampons at first. I was in one of those sports where it was considered bad to get your period. So I tried many times before it got comfy. Those GentleGlide and Thin ones are good for first timers at any age.
I prefer tampons they are easier to deal with...
I can still go swimming...
I am aware of TSS....I have pads and **** liners also but I use those sparingly
.....I use pads. I usually have to use the big overnights for the first 2 out of 5to6 days I'm flowing. I don't really know how to put a **** on...I know WHERE to put it...but I haven't really been "broken in yet" so I don't feel comfortable sticking things up there yet....
For me I ALWAYS use tampons...Peal kind by always. When I first used tampons it took me a while to find the right brand for me.I'm bot worried about getting TSS because if you change you **** regularly then you have nothing to worry about. I can sleep the way I want with tampons and I can still swim. Besides when it's hot pads can make you have a unpleasant order. You can wash and do what ever you want, but because a pad is on the outside of your body...You WILL have a fishy smelll if you don't change like you should...and some females don't :? . ANYONE HEAR ABOUT THE CUP??? I"M NOT SURE WHAT THE CORRECT NAME IS?
