Hotep, I know that most of you celebrate Christmas but this year I decide to celebrate Kwanzaa as well. This is also consider a Value system check it out and don't forget to Tell someone Habari gani Finally, it is important to note Kwanzaa is a cultural holiday, not a religious one, thus available to and practiced by Africans of all religious faiths who come together based on the rich, ancient and varied common ground of their Africanness. Prince NGUZO SABA (The Seven Principles) ( Dec 26th) Umoja (Unity) To strive for and maintain unity in the family, community, nation and race. (Dec 29th) Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics) To build and maintain our own stores, shops and other businesses and to profit from them together. (Dec 30th) Nia (Purpose) To make our collective vocation the building and developing of our community in order to restore our people to their traditional greatness. I think Kwanzaa is a beautiful celebration all African-descended people should celebrate. I don't celebrate it with my family now, but I probably will when I have a wife and kids of my own. Happy Kwanzaa to everyone that celebrates it!!
