Gotta question, are you a high school senior?? If so, you should still have some time. I applied to undergrad over 3 yrs ago, so bear with me. I can't really tell you much about Fisk, but in general I think a 3.4 is okay, just as long as you do well on the ACT or SAT (or both ) so you can get some money. Um, if you're still in high school and your application isn't that full (I mean with extracurriculars and volunteering and alla that good stuff) you still have time to join some clubs or whatever. Yeah, I know it sounds kinda bad, but hey, you've gotta do what you gotta do. Also, don't be like some folks and only apply to 2 schools (one HBCU and one PWI). Look at other HBCUs and apply to them as well. Either way, good luck to you and I wish you the best! BTW, some good scholarships to look into are the Bill Gates scholarship and the Ronald Mc Donald scholarship.

As a FISKite that has worked in the Office of Admissions (briefly), I know that FISK will most likely take you if you have a good GPA like 3.4 Speak to Ms. Rivers and also Keith Chandler... they would love to hear how interested you are in my school..... As well, I hope you have a good amount of extra-cirriculars, and focus on getting really good on your ACT. If you need to ask anymore questions...PM me. Kimberly A FISK Daughter Ever on the Altar
