I thought everyone knew they were changing the SAT. It's gonna be even longer now...I think 3 hours and 45 minutes. (I'm not sure if that's the actual time, but it was 3 when I took it.) They adding an essay, making the math section harder, and taking out the analogies. I feel for ya'll...but good luck.
^^^^^Yep, the test is going to be 3.5 hours, and now covers: more critical reading sections, grammar, algebra II, negative numbers, and the essay section that you get 20-25 mintes to complete.
I hope class of 2005 is aware some colleges are requiring the new SAT test or the current SAT along with the SAT II Writing test.
The PSAT this month is based on the NEW SAT-be prepared.
Do not forget, the ACT has an "optional" writing section and colleges still accept that test "as is".
Hell- I need my own prep for the test and resource room...

well i mean i took the test SAT my senior year with the writing part, and the math isnt really harder it just goes more into math like more trig and whatnot trust me YOU ARE SOOOO Much better off with the writing part...cause on the test SAT i got a 1280, while with the original SAT i got an 1160 go figure....too bad it didnt count...yall should feel lucky, cause me and these DAMN THINGS HERE
