NAH BUT SERIOUSLY you should check out Howard for fine arts, the alumni just from that particular area alone proves how good our department is, plus the location of DC will give you plenty of opportunities if you want to hone your craft outside of the school.....Howard is world renown for its fine arts department and i mean you should really research, the website for department of art is
http://art.howard.edu/index.html
department of music
http://www.coas.howard.edu/music/
and department of theatre
http://www.howard.edu/CollegeFineArts/Theatre/programs.html
and i mean this program will really work you, my floormate who was taking voice, even though she mainly sings jazz, had to be able to sing all forms including opera and learn a foreign language or her choice, plus be able to compose, learn guitar and piano for future semesters .....to be able to graduate so she could be versatile, so the fine arts is on point about making you the best in what you wanna specialize in, but also making you versatile in the competitive market, because i mean now if she wants she can put on her lil resume she can sing all these forms and like be able to do anything and travel anywhere, feel me??...i had other fine arts friends and floormates including theatre and art , but yeah the school is on point
Yo you think you can remove that qoute...All men aint rapists, or Im not understand..gracias.
I will definitely look at Howard, but I really was hoping someone could tell me about hampton in that area or Norfolk,
The September 2003 issue of Ebony magazine features an article about Hampton University. The new building for the journalism school is highlighted.
Also, Clark Atlanta University is known for its media arts program. Jackie Reid, anchor for BET Nightly News, is a CAU grad.
