Jackson State, FAMU, Or Bethune-Cookman can you please let me know how it is and the up's and downs of the school I'm currently a senior in high school in Illinois and those schools are my top 3 choices so if somebody can help me out I would really appreciate it
just hit me up on aim or send me a private message if u wanna know ne thing specific
other than that as a bethune is not a bad school. the teachers and student body quickly become ur family, like every school it has its bad points but it is a cool place to be the classes will challenge u dont get me wrong but the good part about a school this size is there is always someone willing to help out, as for daytona there isnt much to do here until the spring there are a few parties and stuff but in the spring is when its really poppin
I'ma be honest wit you...If the statement..."It's rough in the SWAC" was in the dictionary....next to it would be a picture of Jackson State University...(For Now) For Now meaning that they are renovating most of the buildings, building new dorms, building a athletic complex, and building a state of the art campus union...SO....we look a lil bootlegg and rough right now but in the years to come...JSU will be one of the best looking campuses in the state of Ms!!!!!! Now...like other HBCUs....JSU is in the GHETTO!!!!!!!!!!! But you are protected for the most part...Top Flight Security (Campus Police) continuosly patrol the campus and you can also fine JPD patroling outside of the gates!!!!!!
The food in the cafe is alright depending on whether it's freshly cooked or left overs from last week...GOOD thing is...we do have a Subway in the union that accepts supercards (JSU id's with money on the account) and the Grill accepts flex dollars (15 meal plan +250 flex dollars) and supercards...so you'll never be hungry!!!
Now that's the bad part about JSU...the good part is that...Classes have their challenges...especially in the Science, Math, and Business departments!!!!!!!!! They ain't no joke...and we are just freshman!!!! Now don't get me wrong...all the majors have their own level of difficulty...but those three take the cake...If you can manage to keep that major throught out college...you just about are guaranteed a spot in somebody's graduate school!!!!!
Overall...JSU is a pretty good school!!! The administration seems to be on it's p's and q's. The only thing that might **** you off...is them damn fire alarms at 2 in the morning!!!!!!!!!
Hope the info is useful...if you have anymore question...email me at cornbread_otown@hotmail.com
just hit me up on pm or e-mail me and i will be glad to give you any information you want. We are also in the midst of construction but it will be over by next year.
