Time for everyone to let out their opinions and evaluations of this year's homecoming.....
Gospel Concert:didnt go
Comedy show: didnt go
Fashion Show: didnt go *i didnt go to these events because it wasnt in the budget*
RnB Concert: This show was OFF THE HOOK!!!!! John Legend had all the girls in love with him, and had all the dudes tryin to get the bootleg of his album cuz of how all the girls were responding. Anthony Hamilton took it church. For real...that man is tight as heck.
Yardfest: Sucked. Ive never been talked to like how those rappers were talking to the females....I dont think Ive heard some many "mutha f**a this and mutha f***a thats.." ever. Trick Daddy looked surprised when his **** got boo'd for sayin what he said ***** that baby, that baby aint mine* WTF!?
Homecoming Game: I wasnt really tooo into the game, I was stuck on looking at LL Cool J and Larenz Tate.
Step Show: Long, but entertaining. I think the Iotas shouldve won....but the Kappas were looking very very nice
Saturday Night: Georgia Ave was crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy. Im glad everybody from out of town went home today, because all that craziness with everyone being here caused for a lot of drama: fights breakin out, pistol whippings, people getting shot, girls getting punched in the face by grown **** men......not necessary.
............
Didn't go to anything that cost me money. Yardfest was overhyped and the game was aiight.
Cosign. I had to sit on the visitor's side cuz a friend wanted to take more than an hour to get dressed when I was ready at like 10......I didn't really get the full experience of the game, and I was on and off the yard cuz it was so weak  . I did see my n*gga X to tha Z tho showin that LA luv
I didn't even make it outside to yardfest until xzibit came out. It was too chilly and wet, plus i wasn't really hyped. I was pumped to see westside representation, but homedude was cussin up a storm. "Wave ya middle fingaz in the air"...um, really sir ? I still loved my whole Homecoming experience this year tho (well, minus the ignant negros on Georgia Ave). I hustled **** seats at just about every event, so i was a happy woman
Gospel show
I loved it. Lisa McClendon is ma girl. She did the darn thang. I got some pics wit her too. Might post em latah.
7:00 fashion show
first time goin. And i heard about the exposing of the flesh, but good lawd...the MEN! Whew! And the Mr. Stripper man at the end....HAVE MERCY
r&b show
one of the best concerts i've been too. Hands down. John Legend...that man is bringin yellow bruthas back . I ain't lying. And Anthony?? That boy is the truth! We had chutch up in there that night! Folks thought they were payin for a r&b concert, lil did they know that they were in for gospel concert part 2. When they play "shoutin music" at the end of concert, u know some Jesus was in the building.
Game
the best part was on the way to the game when New Edition was parked by the back door of the Annex and Johnny Gill gave me a hug. Woo hoo ! that made ma day. The game was good tho, Lorenz Tate and LL looked scrumptious, cheerleaders didn't even screw up on their stunts, and the team actually won,...go figure. Halftime was pretty cool too. Mad that Tiff & Cliff's mics were trippin on fire and desire, but they still did the dern thing. I left right after that to get ready for....
Step Show
Seem sooooo long this year. The venue had much better seating, but the place closely resembled a cross between a prison & a ghetto highschool gym. Steppers were good...well...some. The highschoolers were good, HOWEVER...some of the gestures that they were mockin was NOT okay. Deltas held it down as usual and i even thought the A&T AKAs were hella crunk. Um, I definately thought the Iotas were robbed. I love some Kappas, but canes are one thing. ****??? Naw man, they get it for that alone . Overall...good show.
Kay, i'll stop here...check out the xanga for more details....peace
